Davis finished the game with 37 points (12/21 shooting), 10 rebounds and four assists, LeBron James added 15 points, six boards and 12 assists for the Lakers, who hadn’t been to the NBA’s final four since winning their last title back in 2010.
The top-seeded Lakers now own a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. Game 2 is set to take place on Sunday:
