The Boston Celtics upgraded Gordon Hayward to questionable ahead of Game 3 of the Conference Finals series between Boston and Miami, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Hayward suffered an ankle injury in the opening round of the playoffs against the Philadelphia 76ers. Boston swept the Sixers and got to advance in the ECF, after eliminating the Raptors in seven games.

The Celtics are in need of Hayward’s offense, after losing the first two games of the series vs. the Miami Heat.

The veteran forward averages 18.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest in the NBA “bubble”.
