Magic Johnson took to Twitter after the Los Angeles Clippers got eliminated by the Denver Nuggets in seven games. The Clippers had three games to close out the series, after taking a 3-1 lead.
The Lakers’ legend didn’t hold back on his criticism on the LA team, as he claimed that they “choked again”.
“The Clippers choked again. They choked against Houston in 2015 and they choked tonight against the Denver Nuggets,” the Hall of Famer tweeted.
The Clippers have an 0-8 record in elimination games in the playoffs. The Nuggets will enter the WC Finals versus the Lakers as heavy underdogs. The WC Finals series is bound to start on Friday.
