Jayson Tatum was a block away from becoming the hero of Game 1 between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat, but Bam Adebayo had a different opinion on the matter.

However, the young superstar completed an impressive milestone.

He joined Larry Bird as the only players with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in 3 straight playoff games in Celtics franchise history, per ESPN Stats and Info.

Tatum finished the contest with 30 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. He also had two blocks and three steals. The Celtics will try to even the series in Game 2, which will take place on Thursday.
