Russell Westbrook had no explanation for the lack of effort the Houston Rockets showed during Game 4 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Rockets got outrebounded (52-26) and severely outscored in the paint by the Los Angeles Lakers. Westbrook said “there should have been a sense of urgency on everybody’s part”, per Ben Golliver of the Washington Post.

“I don’t have an explanation for you. There should have been a sense of urgency on everybody’s part… We know what we have to do… We all have to sacrifice some of the things we love to do. We’ve got to scramble.”

Westbrook had a team-high 25 points in the game for the Rockets, who got outplayed by the Lakers for almost 43 minutes, allowing Frank Vogel’s team to get a 23-point lead in the game.
