It will be a very important offseason for the Milwaukee Bucks and point guard Eric Bledsoe could find himself on a new team next season.

Bledsoe, who made the NBA All-Defensive Second Team this season, “is expected to become a potential trade candidate” this offseason, according to Shams Charania.

The 30-year-old just finished the first year of his four-year, $70 million contract.

Bledsoe has two fully guaranteed years left, with the final year of the deal being partially guaranteed ($3.9 million).

The Bucks don’t have a lot of room in terms of cap space, so they will likely have to get creative to improve the roster and that could include trading away Bledsoe.

There’s an expectation among rival executives that the Bucks will target a play-maker and add more shooting to the roster to try and complement Giannis Antetokounmpo this offseason, according to Charania.

Chris Paul has come up recently as a possible target if he becomes available.
