The Los Angeles Lakers are not too happy with having to play late games inside the NBA bubble in Orlando. Lakers coach Frank Vogel and superstar LeBron James both shared their experiences of how late games impact them.

Vogel compared it to travelling during the season, saying he goes to sleep between 3 and 4 o’clock at night.

Per Paul Kasabian of Bleacher Report:

“But our 9 o’clock starts, it feels like we’re playing and traveling during the season,” Vogel said. “It’s because you’re getting back to the hotel very late, you’re up late.”
….
“I get right to work right after the game,” James said. “Win, lose or draw, I start my treatment already in the locker room; when I get back to the hotel, I’m going to do some more. Be up pretty late tonight.”

Sports analyst Skip Bayless ripped the Lakers for the above comments, saying that the Clippers don’t complain and just play whenever they have to.

“The Lakers are whining about having to play too many big-stage 9 p.m. Eastern playoff games??? What, they’re missing too much Bubble night life??? Clippers don’t complain, they just play when the schedule says play,” Bayless tweeted.
