Nick Nurse says Pascal Siakam is getting there, according to Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun. Siakam had another dismal game. Game 7 is the best time to become unleashed.
Siakam had 12 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the game. While he was not able to score, he was able to impact the game in other ways.
Head coach Nick Nurse says Game 7 is Siakam’s time to shine:
“I’m not saying it’s there, but it’s closer. There’s a possibility it could be there when the ball goes up on Friday.”
Siakam is needed in this Raptors offense. He is their best player and has looked flat. Game 7 is a big moment and he will have to get everybody involved early to then be able to take over at the end. The Raptors will win if Siakam has a good game.
