Led by Jamal Murray, the Denver Nuggets won Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Los Angeles Clippers to even the series at 1-1. Murray was the top scorer for the winners with 27 points.
He made several highlights against the Clippers superstars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins reacted to a video of Murray’s highlights.
“A Baby Gilbert Arenas!!!” Perkins tweeted, referring to similarities between Denver’s guard and the former NBA star.
Murray turned into a volume scorer in three first-round playoff games against the Utah Jazz as he scored 50, 42 and 50 points in each of them.
