The New York Knicks are expected to move vigorously in the offseason, as they try to return to prominence under new president Leon Rose.

The Knicks hired Tom Thibodeau, a veteran NBA head coach to lead the young New York Knicks. At the top of that, the franchise could be after some huge veteran signings.

According to Ian Begley of the SNY.tv, the Knicks will severely increase their odds to sign Carmelo Anthony, if they choose to trade for Chris Paul.

Paul and Carmelo rejuvenated their careers in Oklahoma and Portland, respectively. They led their teams to the postseason having an important role as the veteran leaders of their teams.

Anthony is going to be a free agent in the offseason, while Paul has two more years in the $159 million deal he signed back in 2018.
