The Steve Nash hiring from his team could not have been an exception. In particular, Dinwiddie called Steve Nash the third star of the Brooklyn Nets team.
Obviously, Dinwiddie was referring to the rumors that have the Nets pursuing a blockbuster trade to bring a third star in the squad to play with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
Both Kyrie and Durant are expected to return in the court next season under Steve Nash. The same goes for Dinwiddie, who can obviously benefit from working with the Hall of Famer point guard.
