Victor Oladipo could leave the Indiana Pacers in 2021, according to Sam Amick of The Athletic.
Oladipo is under contract with Indiana until the end of the 2020/2021 season, yet it seems he has no plans to re-sign and remain with the team for many years.
As Amick reports, there are “rumblings” that Oladipo could join another NBA team in the 2021 free agency.
There are two factors, though, that will determine what will happen with the versatile guard. The first one is whether the Pacers are willing to offer him a multi-year contract and also who will take over the team after the firing of head coach Nate McMillan.
Oladipo averaged 17.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in four appearances in the first round of the playoffs.
