Danny Green revealed that the Los Angeles Lakers had no intention to end the 2019/20 season.

The forward of the Lakers said the meeting between the players on Wednesday was heated at times, but his team never voted to end the season.

“Were we ever on the side of ending the season? No. To shut it down would have been silly,” Green said, via Marc J. Spears of the Undefeated.

NBA players decided to boycott the games on Wednesday and Thursday in order to protest for the shooting of Jacob Blake. Blake was shot seven times in the back by the police and he is now paralyzed from the waist down.

The players decided to continue playing and the playoffs will resume on Saturday.
