Jamal Murray was unstoppable against the Utah Jazz in Game 5, leading the Denver Nuggets to the 107-117 win and making history.

Murray had 42 points (17/26 shooting, 4/8 from beyond the arc), eight rebounds and eight assists in the contest. He scored 33 of his 42 points in the second half and the Nuggets remained alive in the first-round playoff series.

The star of the Nuggets became the first player to record back-to-back 40-point outings in the playoffs, without committing a turnover, since 1977, when individual turnovers were first tracked, per Elias Sports.

Murray also has a total of 92 points in the last two playoff games of Denver. These are the most points in a two-game span in Nuggets playoff history, with Carmelo Anthony having the previous record with 74 points.

The Jazz still lead the series, though (3-2). Game 6 will take place on Thursday.
