The eighth-seeded Portland Trail Blazers superstar and NBA Bubble MVP Damian Lillard fields questions from the media following the team’s 100-93 victory over LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the top-seeded Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1 of their first-round series at AdventHeath Arena on the grounds of the Walt Disney World Resort outside of Orlando on Tuesday night.
Lillard says the Blazers are clicking on all cylinders because every game has been so important to the team’s playoff chances since entering the Bubble.
A full-time baller and a part-time rapper goes on to say Portland is happy to get the win, but the whole team knows they’ve got more work to do.
Lillard finished the game with 34 points (on 9/21 shooting), five rebounds, five assists and a block in 43 minutes, CJ McCollum added 21 points along with five boards. Game 2 will take place on Thursday:
