Russell Westbrook could return to the lineup of the Houston Rockets this weekend, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Westbrook is dealing with a quad injury and is expected to miss the first few games of the first-round playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The star of the Rockets will miss Games 1 and 2, which are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday. However, he could be ready for Game 3 on Saturday.
“There is some hope [Russell Westbrook] could play as soon as this weekend,” Charania reports.
