The Portland Trail Blazers took advantage of the invitation to the NBA bubble and grabbed the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Led by Damian Lillard, the Blazers drew the attention of many analysts, who even went as far as to claim that they could knock out the Los Angeles Lakers in first round.

Sports analyst Colin Cowherd was one of them. But, after taking a deeper look at Portland, he is prepared to revisit his prediction. Cowherd thinks that the Blazers are exhausted with Lillard averaging 41 minutes during the seeding games.

The Lakers, on the other hand, clinched the number one seed early on and could concentrate on getting prepared for the playoffs instead of trying to win every game.

Cowherd also pointed at the fact that Portland couldn’t close out Memphis during play-in game.

“Portland is exhausted. They are shot… The Lakers are just sitting around waiting for Tuesday. I’ll have to revisit my prediction on this one,” he said.
