The Boston Celtics will face the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the playoffs without Ben Simmons, but Jaylen Brown called for a more cautious approach.

“I think it’s going to be a good series. I think that without Ben Simmons, a lot of people are thinking, like counting them out. Those guys are looking over there and smiling at that,” Brown said, per Keith Pompey.

Simmons was sidelined with a knee injury in the seeding game vs the Wizards and underwent surgery to remove a loose body. He will miss the rest of the season.

On the other side, the Celtics will face Brett Brown’s team in full strength, as Kemba Walker has fully recovered from his knee injury and will be available without a minutes restriction.
