CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard were both in a much better mood after securing passage to the playoffs for the Portland Trail Blazers with a 126-122 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.

McCollum, who has apparently been playing with a fractured back, came up clutch for the Blazers in the fourth quarter of said game. And, questioned on his injury after the contest, went full Mike Tyson.

Tyson famously claimed to have broken his back (spinal) after knocking Clifford Etienne out in 2003. During a 2018 interview, however, the boxing legend admitted that he’d simply injured his back and made it out to be a lot more than it was.

The Blazers, meanwhile, will face the Los Angeles Lakers in the playoffs, with Game 1 scheduled for Tuesday night.
