Mike D’Antoni said there is not an exact date on when Russell Westbrook will return to action.
The head coach of the Houston Rockets hopes the versatile guard will not miss the entire first round of the playoffs.
“I don’t think they have a specific time on it yet. Hopefully, it’s sooner than later. Obviously, we’ll have to hold serve until he gets back,” D’Antoni told reporters, via Tim MacMahon of ESPN.
Westbrook is dealing with a quad injury and he is expected to miss part of the first-round series. The Rockets will face the Oklahoma City Thunder.
