Gregg Popovich is elated with the San Antonio Spurs’ record in the Orlando “bubble”, after the win vs the Pelicans. The Spurs are still in the race to compete in the play-in tournament for the 8th seed.

Popovich claimed that participating in the tournament will be “quite a victory”, praising his players for their play in the NBA season restart.

“If we’re able to be in that 9th spot that would be quite a victory and it says a lot about how this young group has come together. I’m already thrilled by the way they played but that would be fantastic.”

San Antonio moved just one game back of the Memphis Grizzlies for the eighth seed in the West, while they could own the 9th best record in the West tonight, if Portland loses to the Philadelphia 76ers.
