Michael Porter Jr. stayed hot, as he helped the Denver Nuggets to a 134-132 victory over the Utah Jazz in double-overtime.
Porter finished the game with 23 points and 11 rebounds. He also showed his durability by playing 45 minutes. Denver was plus-13 with Porter on the court, which was the best of any player on the team.
It was Porter’s fourth consecutive game with a double-double and he has scored at least 20 points in each of those games.
The Nuggets have a lot of talented big men, including Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap, but Porter is earning a bigger role on the team.
He can be a difference-maker in the postseason and is developing into a player the Nuggets can build around.
