The Philadelphia 76ers will continue to play without Ben Simmons, after the All-Star left the “bubble” to have knee surgery.

According to Chris Fedor of cleveland.com, Philadelphia will need to choose between Simmons and Embiid, if the Sixers have an earlier-than-expected playoff exit.

“One executive who spoke with cleveland.com believes the Sixers will need to choose between Simmons and Joel Embiid — if Philly has an earlier-than-expected playoff exit.”

Despite the high expectations at the start of the season, the 76ers are their conference’s underachievers having just the sixth-best record in the East with four games to finish their regular season play.
