It is no secret that James Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo don’t get on very well. Austin Rivers of the Houston Rockets revealed more details about the relationship between the two superstars.

According to him, they don’t trash talk to one another as one might expect. Instead, they are completely ignoring each other. Rivers thinks that both Harden and Giannis respect each other a lot, despite the tension between them.

Via HoopsHype:

“They don’t say a word to each other. They don’t they don’t talk any trash to each other. They don’t. They don’t say anything. So it’s not like to the point where you’d be like, Man, these guys really hate each other. I think they both respect each other a lot. They just won’t admit it because they’re both so competitive. (…) I think James is so competitive, that he just doesn’t like somebody that’s also getting MVP. And I think it’s the same way Giannis.”

The latest incident involving the two players was Harden refusing to make any comments when asked if it was difficult to guard Giannis during Houston’s win over Milwaukee.
