Former number two pick and current analyst Jay Williams thinks the Houston Rockets have big potential and could make a deep playoff run. He shared his views on the Rockets’ chances in the playoffs after their win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

“If they’re able to … meet the Lakers in the Western Conference semi-finals, I like the Rockets’ chances,” Williams said on ESPN’s Get Up. “The reason I don’t like their chances against the Clippers because the Clippers have the versatility to switch on everything and guard the likes of Russ and James.

But with the Lakers that bigger lineup that’s small-ball and small-ball can force the Lakers to try play smaller and faster and that’s where I think could be a huge advantage for James Harden and Russell Westbrook and his three-point shooting team.”
