The Dallas Mavericks resumed their season with a narrow overtime loss to the Houston Rockets, 149-153. Mavs’ All-Star guard Luka Doncic made yet another triple double with 28 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists, but it wasn’t enough. A season-high 39 points from Kristaps Porzingis didn’t save Dallas either.

But, Doncic is not worried about the defeat. According to the 20-year-old Slovenian, the Mavericks will get better when it matters the most.

“We’re a young team. We’ve got a lot to learn. We’ll get better for sure. I know we’re going to get together when it matters most, so I’m not worried about that,” Doncic said post game, per ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.

This loss keeps Dallas in seventh place in the Western Conference while they maintain an 8-win lead over the trailing Memphis Grizzlies.
