Eric Gordon suffered an ankle injury on the last Houston Rockets’ scrimmage, after stepping on Boston’s Vincent Poirier foot.

According to the latest reports, the Rockets’ sharpshooter is going to miss 2-3 weeks of action, before being able to play again.

However, head coach Mike D’Antoni isn’t sure about that. D’Antoni admitted that the healing may require more than 3 weeks, depending on the ankle’s reaction, per Cayleigh Griffin of AT&T SportsNet SW.

The former Pelicans’ shooting guard has only played to 34 games until the season hiatus facing several injury problems this season.

Danuel House Jr. is expected to replace Gordon in the Houston starting five, until the veteran comes back.
