Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens gave an encouraging update on Kemba Walker’s knee injury recovery.

The starting point guard of the Celtics seems ready to return to action, according to Stevens.

“He’s got a burst – his burst is back,” Stevens said, per Justin Quinn of USA TODAY Sports. “I think he’s healthy enough to play – it’s just a matter of days balancing themselves out right according to our training staff and Kemba with regard to getting ready for the seeding games.”

The All-Star guard suffered the injury back in February, but he is still trying to find rhythm, after a four-month hiatus.

Walker averaged 21.2 points, 4.9 assists and 4.1 rebounds, being the second-best scorer in the Celtics’ squad prior to the NBA season suspension.
