Memphis Grizzlies swingman Justise Winslow will miss the rest of the season after suffering a hip injury in practice on July 20.

The Grizzlies announced that Winslow fell after absorbing contact during an intra-squad scrimmage.

He is expected to make a full recovery.

“I was excited to join my brothers on the court and will be supporting them throughout,” Winslow tweeted. “I’m focused on coming back 100% towards a full recovery.”

The 24-year-old had yet to make his debut for the Grizzlies this season, after being dealt to them at the trade deadline by the Miami Heat.

Winslow only played 11 games for the Heat this season, averaging 11.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
