Wizards’ center Thomas Bryant is close to practicing, according to Washington’s head coach Scott Brooks.

Bryant has joined the Wizards in the Orlando bubble after not being able to initially, due to a positive coronavirus test.

He will play a big role for Washington once the season returns. Bryant averaged 12.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game before the season was suspended. The Wizards will be without their top two scorers in Bradley Beal and Davis Bertans when the season resumes. This could mean more opportunities on offense for Bryant.

The big man is comfortable handling the ball and is a strong finisher.

The Wizards will need Bryant to play well, as they try to chase down the Brooklyn Nets and Orlando Magic to sneak into the postseason.
