Luka Doncic took the NBA by storm when he arrived to the league in 2018. In his second year with the Dallas Mavericks, the 21-year-old Slovenian guard became an All-Star.

According to the team owner Mark Cuban, Luka has a little from some of the basketball greats. He stressed his work ethic the most.

“He has a little from all of them. Basketball IQ, ability to take over a game. Passing skills. Can shoot from deep. And most importantly the desire to work as hard as it takes to be the best in the game,” Cuban told Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson of Heavy when asked if Doncic reminds him of Dirk Nowitzki, LeBron James or Larry Bird.

Doncic is averaging 28.7 points, 9.3 rebounds and 8.7 assists. The Mavs are yet to secure a place in the playoffs. They are in a good position as they sit in a seventh place, eight wins above the Memphis Grizzlies.
