Dwight Howard will play for the Los Angeles Lakers when the NBA season restarts according to Shams Charania.

Howard had been unsure whether or not he would play. His decision to donate his salary for the rest of the season to the non-profit Breathe Again played a role in his decision to return.

Howard has been a key contributor for the Lakers off the bench this season. He is averaging 7.5 points and 7.4 rebounds in just 19.2 minutes per game. Howard also has shot a career-best 73.2 percent on field-goal attempts this season.

The Lakers will look for him to continue his impressive play in the postseason.
