Matt Janning will not continue with Spanish ACB champion Baskonia, as the the team decided not to exercise his option for the 2020-21 season, according to Chema de Lucas.
Janning will be free to choose his next destination in his career with no limits, as he will become a free agent.
The veteran guard was a crucial member of Baskonia’s perimeter in the last 3 seasons averaging almost 9 points per game during his stint with the Spanish club.
He has also played for Siena, Anadolu Efes, Lokomotiv Kuban and Hapoel Jerusalem, before joining Baskonia and after playing four years for the Northeastern University.
