Golden State Warriors rookie Eric Paschall remembered his first NBA experience which was playing against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in a preseason game. For a 6’6″ 255lb power forward it was an interesting experience.

The 23-year-old forward considered himself to be strong until he faced LeBron on the court. The King bullied him, Paschall admitted. But the next time the rookie bumped James to stop the bullying.

Per Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports:

“I played all right,” Paschall, who scored 11 points himself, said. “LeBron bullied me for the first time. I thought I was a strong guy until I met him, so that was kind of crazy. But the next time, I bumped him just so he doesn’t bully me again.

“I took a foul on that one, but I feel like I wound up playing well against him.”

The Lakers ended up beating the Warriors 101-123. Paschall finished the game with 11 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. He averaged 14 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for the Dubs this season.
