Phoenix Suns’ Kelly Oubre Jr. is expected to sit out the resumption of the NBA season, but he will still travel with the team to Orlando.

Oubre is expected to continue his therapy and rehab from meniscus surgery he had on March 3, according to Shams Charania.

The Suns are one of the teams in the Western Conference that will compete for a play-in spot to ultimately get into the playoffs.

Suns owner Robert Sarver previously said he expected Oubre to play in Orlando.

Oubre averaged 18.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game before he got hurt.

The Suns join the San Antonio Spurs as teams who will be without a key player, as the Spurs will be without LaMarcus Aldridge after he underwent shoulder surgery.
