Roc Nation Sports officially announced that Lonzo, LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball will join the agency founded by Jay-Z.

“This was a family decision,” LaMelo’s manager, Jermaine Jackson, told Jonathan Givony of ESPN. “This is now an extended family. They put together a beautiful game plan with Jay-Z. The basketball game is about to change. They are going to create something totally new.”

The three brothers were first represented by agent and family friend Harrison Gaines, but they mutually parted ways with Gaines in April 2019.

They then signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) before moving on to Roc Nation.

Roc Nation will focus on “negotiating marketing opportunities” for the players that includes an upcoming shoe deal for LaMelo that will be quite lucrative thanks to his popularity before even entering the NBA.

Their father LaVar Ball previously approved of their Roc Nation representation.

“I think you have to go through different agencies to see the one that you need that’s going to have the same mindset as you,” LaVar said. “I feel that Roc Nation is trying to move in a direction that we moving in.”

It was initially reported in April that the three reportedly signed representation agreements with Roc Nation.
