The NBA season is most likely to return with 22 teams once the season is resumed. A voting will take place this Thursday, which is is expected to result in favor of such return, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

“Thursday the NBA Board of Governors and the owners will vote on a plan to resume the season in Orlando. They’re lining up behind Adam Silver. They’re ready to move toward the plan that he and the Players Association worked together,” Wojnarowski said on ESPN’s Get Up.

“There’s a lot of focus right now on a 22-team model of bringing teams back to Orlando in a play-in situation. … Thursday will be the day of the vote and it’s expected to overwhelmingly pass.”
