Charles Oakley recently criticized Patrick Ewing, his former teammate with the New York Knicks. However after Ewing’s coronavirus diagnosis, Oakley showed support for Ewing.

“I want to share that I have tested positive for COVID-19,” said Ewing in a statement on Twitter. “This virus is serious and should not be taken lightly. I want to encourage everyone to stay safe and take care of yourselves and your loved ones.”

Oakley responded shortly after.

It seems they’ve put any issues they had behind them.

Ewing, now the head coach of Georgetown’s basketball team, is currently in isolation at a hospital.
