Bradley Beal was having the best season of his career, before the NBA come to a “pause”. The Brooklyn Nets are expected to make a move for the Washington Wizards superstar in order to add a third star in the team along with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, according to the Daily News.

On the other hand, Bradley Beal’s agent does not expect a trade for his client nor to Nets neither to any other team, per Forbes.

“There are no Beal Sweepstakes and that’s why he re-signed with the Wizards,” agent Mark Bartelstein said Friday, per Adam Zagoria of Forbes. “Brad re-signed with the Wizards because he wanted to stay in Washington and the Wizards wanted to keep him there.”

The Daily News reported this week that the Nets discussed internally how to land the Wizards star via a trade. Beal signed a two-year, $72 million contract extension with Washington in October 2019, despite the fact that the Wizards were on a semi-rebuild state with John Wall sidelined with an Achilles injury for the entire 2019-20 campaign.
