(Seattle, WA – May 21, 2020) Today NBA legend Jamal Crawford announced a strategic partnership with Portland-based Shoot 360, the leader in technology-based skills training for basketball players of all ages and skill levels. The alliance will involve Crawford investing in the brand, owning a franchise and serving as an ambassador who will help Shoot 360 grow in markets around the world. Crawford joins local Seattle native Rodney Stuckey who operates a Shoot 360 training center in Kirkland, Washington and Tim Ggrurich, an assistant coach with nearly 20 years of experience in the NBA, as part of the Shoot 360 advisory team.

Crawford played a marathon 19 seasons in the NBA with some of the game’s premier franchises including the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, and Los Angeles Clippers. Crawford, who played college basketball at the University of Michigan before leaping into the NBA, has a number of professional records including the most four-point plays and being the oldest player to score 50+ points in a game. Crawford is the second player in NBA history to have reached 10,000+ career points in a non-starting role. During his career, Crawford toured China on several occasions, giving him a sense of the passion basketball fans have in the world’s largest consumer market. Crawford is a three-time NBA 6th man of the year award winner.

“After playing professionally for 19 years I have a genuine understanding of the hard work and dedication it takes to reach the top level of the sport and to stay there. That passion and joy for the game is what I want to bring to Shoot 360,” said Crawford. “Without a doubt Shoot 360’s one of a kind and proven training technology leads the way in training innovation and excitement for the next generation. Players get an experience that’s more like a game, Shoot 360 motivates players to consistently put in the work that it takes to improve and to have a fun time doing it.”

“Part of our mission has always been to shape the future of basketball training through the Shoot 360 experience. We take pride in the way that we combine technology and personal connection to build players’ confidence and improve their skills with every single training session,” said Shoot 360 Founder Craig Moody. “Having a player like Jamal, with nearly two decades of NBA experience under his belt and an unmatched joy for the game will allow us to continue to improve the winning formula we have devised at Shoot 360.”

With seven training centers already operating in five states and more locations scheduled to open this year, Shoot 360 is the leader in leveraging technology and personalized coaching to improve basketball players’ skill and confidence. With proprietary Splash Zone technology, Shoot 360 provides instantaneous feedback on every shot and allows for players to make real-time corrections to their form.
