Ernie Johnson asked NBA legend Charles Barkley on The Steam Room podcast if he would like to fix his relationship with Michael Jordan. Sir Charles gave a positive response but admitted he does not know how to do it.
“I don’t know the answer to that question,” Barkley responded to Johnson’s question how he is going to fix the relationship with MJ, “I wish I could give you a proper answer. I don’t know the answer to that questions. I would like to fix it but, you know, Michael’s doing great, I’m doing great, we had a disagreement. I know we are both too stubborn. I think we are both just jackasses to be honest with you.”
Once a close friendship has ended at least for a while after Barkley criticized Jordan for the way he manages Charlotte, saying that MJ should ‘stop hiring them kiss-asses, and his best friends.’ That was enough to ruin the friendship apparently.
