Allen Iverson led the Philadelphia 76ers to a 97-85 home victory thanks to his stellar defensive performance. The victory gave them a 2-1 lead in their first-round series against the Orlando Magic.

Iverson was spectacular on both ends of the courts, finishing with 33 points, five assists, five rebounds and two blocks to go along with his 10 steals.

The 10 steals remain a record for a postseason game.

Iverson scored 37 points in Game 4 and led the Sixers to a series-clinching victory. They were then swept by the Indiana Pacers in the second round despite Iverson’s excellent play.

In eight postseason games that year, he averaged 28.5 points and 2.5 steals per game. He led the league in both points and steals per contest.
