The Minnesota Timberwolves hope to keep Juancho Hernangomez and Malik Beasley on their roster for the foreseeable future.

Both young ‘wings’ came to Minnesota in February, after a four-team trade, which included 12 players. Gersson Rossas, general manager of the Timberwolves, says he wants both players to remain in the roster for a very long time.

With them being restricted free agents in the summer, Minnesota can match any offer, although nobody knows how the free-agent market will play out now.

The rest of the season is a total unknown for the NBA teams, since no association can guess where the salary cap lands for next season.

However, the Timberwolves are expected to be in a position to re-sign both Beasley and Hernangomez, with Evan Turner and the waived Allen Crabbe coming off the books.
