Ksistof Lavrinovic has left Lithuanian champions Zalgiris and within hours signed for Liga Endesa team Valencia, according to various sources.

Members of the media in Kaunas announced that the Lithuanian would not play in Zalgiris’ already vital Euroleague clash with Partizan and then within an hour, various members of the Spanish press took to Twitter to announce that Lavrinovic had joined Valencia, who are currently second in the Liga Endesa.

The signing of the veteran forward comes at a good time for Valencia, who last night qualified for the eighthfinals of the Eurocup. Pablo Aguilar and Sergei Lishchuk are both on the injured list with undetermined timetables for their return.
