Ex-NBA big man Bill Laimbeer joins Rachel Nichols on The Jump and discusses the “Bad Boy” Pistons, the hate that Michael Jordan still has for the Detroit Pistons to this day, and if he regrets not shaking hands with the Chicago Bulls in the 1991 Eastern Conference finals. During an interview, Laimbeer called the Bulls “whiners” because of their complaints about Detroit’s physical play and aggressiveness, per ClutchPoints:

“They whined and cried for a year and a half about how bad we were for the game. But more importantly, they [said] we were bad people. We weren’t bad people. We were just basketball players, winning. That really stuck with me because they didn’t know who we were or what we were about as individuals and our family life. All that whining they did, why shake their hands? They were just whiners. They won the series, give them credit. We got old, they got past us. Okay, move on,” Laimbeer said.
