Valencia relentless in a night of blowouts, Eurocup round up

Valencia were relentless in their 90-53 romp of Stelmet Zielona Gora in a Eurocup Group O clash, as the Liga Endesa side went 2-1 in the Last 32.

The Poles drop to 0-3 with this latest loss as they continue to struggle with life after the Euroleague.

Six Valencia players scored in double figures with Juan Jose Triguero leading the way on 14 points. Justin Doellman and Bojan Dubljevic both added 13 for the winners.

Vladimir Dragicevic led Zielona Gora with 16 points.

Another team that arrived from the Euroleague, Lietuvos Rytas were thrashed 94-60 by another Spanish league side Zaragoza in Group P.

A 12-2 burst early in the second quarter set the tone for Zaragoza as they collect their first win of the Round of 32 stage in the Eurocup. Lietuvos Rytas now holds the same position.

Michael Roll hit 23 points for the winners.

Nanterre enjoyed a 95-77 win over Ratiopharm Ulm in France as they remained unbeaten in Group I.

After a close first quarter, the hosts pulled clear in the second period, building a 48-34 lead and giving their German counterparts no chance of getting back into contention.

David Lighty had 21 to lead Nanterre. Trent Plaisted had a game-high 23 in vain for Ulm as they suffer their first loss in the second stages.
