Fox Sports journalist Chris Broussard expressed his opinion on the player that beat Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird all in their primes:

“You just don’t know how good Isiah Thomas was. Watch the man play. Isiah Thomas was a bad boy,” Broussard said.

“First, Isiah Thomas was a winner at every level. In 1981 he leads Indiana Hoosiers to the NCAA championship. Then he gets into the NBA, beats Jordan in 3 straight postseasons. Then takes out Larry Bird, in a year were Bird averaged 30 points, the career-high.

And then gets to the Finals and not just beats Magic Johnson, he did it without a top 50 teammate. Jordan had Pippen, Bird had Parish and McHale, Magic had Kareem and James Worthy top 50,” the analyst explained.
