Playing alongside one of the greatest basketball players of all time is a special experience. Current Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr talked about what it was like having Michael Jordan as a teammate.

According to Kerr, it was a great test. All of the players had to step up and compete every day. That is what Jordan expected everyone to do.

Per Mark Medina of USA Today:

“There was a pressure that came with it when you were his teammate I had never felt from anybody,” Kerr said. “It was a great test. You had to step up and compete and perform every day.”

As a player Kerr won three NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls in the Jordan era (1996-1998). He then added two more with the San Antonio Spurs (1999 and 2003).
