The 9-time All-star has donated 650 computers to Houston children so that they can continue learning during quarantine. With all schools being closed due to the coronavirus outbreak, it’s not an easy task for students to keep up with their studying.

According to ESPN, Westbrook’s “Why Not? Foundation” cooperated with Comp-U-Dopt and Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner’s office of education to supply unprivileged Houston kids with computers.

Comp-U-Dopt has already offered over a thousand computers and other technological supplies to Houston families.

“Russell Westbrook proves why he is a champion on and off the court,” Mayor Turner said.

“This donation will be a game changer for many students and their families coping with the impact of the COVID-19 crisis.”
