ESPN actually aired Trae Young’s phone number during Sunday night’s H-O-R-S-E tournament, basically handing fans access to the Atlanta Hawks guard.

Young lost to a retired Chauncey Billups after building up a 3-0 lead (H-O-R), with the former NBA Finals MVP storming back to eliminate the first-time All-Star with a series of impressive makes.

Trae didn’t appear to bring his A-game on the night but he still managed to get fans excited when his number appeared on-screen.

This appears to be purely accidental but, as it turns out, Trae actually wanted his number out there so he could engage with fans. Who could blame him, though? There’s really not much else to do – especially as he doesn’t have to train for the ongoing mini-competition anymore.
